EVER-CONNECTED

Koreanection presents Ever-Connected, a group exhibition with six emerging artists who work on the basis of traditional Korean painting techniques and unravel their own unique insight. Kim Yuri expresses human desire of beauty. Park Yelim draw nature. Yang Jio dreams one’s own island. Lee Ahyun paints a red heavenly flower which heals wounds. Tae Haeyoung describes the prescribed disposition. Han Sohee deconstructs the space and depicts a place contains her own sensibility.

Ever-Connected considers a remix of tradition & contemporary and the East & West. It is composed of artworks that capture the aesthetic identity of Korea while expressing a contemporary sense of Western thought. The six artists, Generation Z was born in Korea but grew up in a Western-centered cultural environment and material civilization that dominates hegemony. The contemporary sensibilities they express while adhere to traditional ways of painting will present an attractive perspective as part of the "K-ART" in the global market.
